Indivisible San Juan is a pro-democracy, anti-authoritarian, grassroots activist network of neighbors working collectively towards a vision of community rooted in inclusion, fairness, access, and justice for all people - local, state, and nation.

Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernández and our own Gloria Lehmer sharing a moment after they discussed a myriad of important issues. ISJ has been engaging with and putting pressure on elected officials for many years. We believe they work for us and not corporate money!

This photo is from the first No Kings! national day of action on June 14th 2025, where over 600 people showed up outside the Farmington Museum and MILLIONS showed up around the world. unified against the corruption from the Trump administration and it's direct attacks on our democracy.

Indivisible San Juan was created in 2017 during Trump's first term. The founders of this group worked hard to build a place in our dauntingly red community where one could resist injustice among other like minded people. They were comprised of a leadership team and never pursued becoming a non-profit but continued to raise awareness on issues and take action in protest when needed. After years of slow and steady work done by a shifting and changing group of leaders, ISJ really began to take off strong in January of 2025 when Trump 2.0 began.
The jump in energy and eagerness to be involved brought with it the need to work on the structuring of the group, and a group of 5 committed volunteers became known at the ISJ Organizing Team. It has been quite a journey for those who have been leading this group through the years, but the need to be organized and methodical in our resistance against Trump's tyranny, oligarchical dreams, and pedophilia was pressing and our group has grown to meet the need.
The Organizing Team now consists of 9 committed volunteers who all take an equal role in forming the decisions and direction of the group. We also have a group of committed volunteers that are now leading a variety of our 16 Action Teams. These Action Teams were created in part with all of our members in a hope to increase our impact and divide and conquer the many areas in need.
ISJ is still NOT a 501c3 non profit organization.
